Spring Denim on Denim

Topshop maternity jeans and Joie jacket

Happy beginning of Spring AND Easter weekend! I hope all of you get have a amazing time with families – even if family means a boyfriend & maybe a furry friend! As for us, my side of the family has been in town from Mexico City for this past week. I have been spending as much time as I can with them while working and trying to plan a little bit more for Diego’s arrival. Time has moved so fast – we have so many clothes but no nursery or any of the “real” stuff… I guess that shows my priorities 🙂 We are planning on taking  new baby orientated classes before he comes but time is against us, we will see how many we get to take. For all you moms out there, any classes that you think we should definitely take?

This week is officially my 30th week of pregnancy and it seems like my belly is on a mission to grow every single day. I can officially say that most of my clothes don’t fit or if I make an attempt at wearing some of my pre-baby clothes I end up looking like poorly wrapped sausage hahaha. That is why I like this Topshop skinny maternity jeans sooo much! For this post I decided to pair them with a cute denim halter top, my new favorite baby pink Joie linen blazer and my suede Aquazzura sandals. I know clothes mean different things to everyone, for me a good comfortable outfit has always helped me feel more confident and powerful. Being pregnant has definitely been a challenge since most of what I like to wear does not fit or looks weird on me 🙁 I know I am going through the most amazing thing that will ever happen to me and it’s all worth it in the end. I think it’s all about a positive attitude and gratitude that my baby is doing great and he is healthy.

I hope you guys liked the post and outfit, see you on the next post!
