I am so excited to finally be able to share Diego’s nursery with everyone! His due date is coming and I finally feel like we have everything in order and ready to go.
Choosing the nursery colors and defining what I wanted for the walls took me forever, I probably spent more time than I needed on Pinterest looking for ideas. In the end, we decided to go with a grey color palette, really neutral. Since I will be spending a lot of time in there I wanted the space to feel peaceful and inviting – not full of vibrant colors, that I would get sick of quickly.
The furniture we got the majority from Restoration Hardware and the rocking chair from Pottery Barn kids (linked here). Both brands have an amazing selection for the style that we were going for. I would really recommend them, also the delivery and install process was painless – the delivery guys came and took care of everything.
My favorite part of the nursery is the mural behind his crib, I really wanted something that symbolized endless opportunities and dreams for him. We added the phrase “Dream Big” to the wall because I ALWAYS want him to know that the sky’s the limit; if he can dream of something he can achieve it. We will always be there to support him and help him as much as we possibly can. For his future I want him to always follow his heart and to fight for what he wants. I suppose all parents have the highest hopes for their kids if he can one day say that he is happy, that’s good enough for me.
I hope you love the nursery as much as we do and thank you for stopping by the blog. Keep scrolling to shop the nursery!

Most of the decor in the nursery was designed by artist Taylor Crockett (find her here). She created the “Diego” sign, “Dream Big” decor, created the framed adventure paintings, and painted the mountain landscape on the wall.
