Lately, booties have taken over the fashion world, and they have also become a basic in my closet–not just because they are comfortable and cute, but because you can wear them all year long! In the fall and winter, I love wearing them with jeans, t-shirts, and sweaters, but in the summer, they look amazing with shorts, skirts, and dresses. One pair that I have been pretty obsessed with for the past year is the Chloé Suzanna ankle boots that I am wearing in this post. Not gonna lie, I went a little crazy and bought them in black and military green and even though in the beginning I had a little bit of buyer’s remorse, I got over it as soon as I put them on :).
Here in Phoenix, you never know when you will have an 70-degree or 50-degree day, so I decided to wear a light white top from Calypso, Urban Outfitters boyfriend jeans (a couple of sizes too big to accommodate my growing belly), and a Joie vest (similar vest found here) just in case it gets cold. The best part about a shearling vest is that it can be worn all year long, paired with a spring dress and booties or denim shorts for a hot summer day. In general I love buying multi functional multi seasonal clothes because if you invest in something nice you should be able to get a lot of use out of it. Over the next month, I will be talking a little bit more about some maternity basics that have allowed me to still feel and dress like myself!
