Hi friends!
As many of you know, I am passionate about wellness and nutrition. After discovering that I had Hashimoto Thyroid Disease, I had to change my whole eating process to a less inflammatory diet. From snacks to full-on meals, it was no more gluten or dairy for me! I didn’t think this was going to be that big of a problem…. until it was, haha! I had the most difficult time finding the best restaurants in Phoenix that were healthy that I could actually eat at.
But never fear, after a lot of researching and trial and error I’ve finally compiled a list of 9 of the best healthy restaurants in Phoenix. They

Best Restaurants in Phoenix: Breakfast
A list of the best restaurants in Phoenix is not complete without healthy breakfast food. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic smoothie or a full-fledged meal, here are a few of my favorites.
1. First Watch
First Watch has a wide range of breakfast items. From Power Bowls with quinoa, Italian sausage, kale and more, to omelets and frittatas such as the ‘Morning Market Veg’ that has zucchini, Crimini mushrooms and more. They even offer Udi’s Gluten Free Toast if you prefer. PRO-TIP: Order both without cheese if you can’t have dairy. I like First Watch if you want to switch up your breakfast routine.

2. Chop Shop
This is an office favorite. It doesn’t help that it’s just right down the street 😉 Their interactive online menu is helpful when trying to find something you can eat depending on your food allergy/intolerance. If you’re gluten-free, they have the Zen Bowl filled with spinach, eggs, and more to help you power through your morning. Chop Shop also has delicious fresh juices that are a perfect pick me up!
Location: 4503 N 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85018

3. HB Wellness
Talk about healthy fast-food. Sometimes I don’t have time to stop for a big breakfast and need something quick to get me going. HB Wellness has a big list of smoothies that are perfect when you have to get to the office quick. All of their smoothies are under 250 calories and have 24 grams of protein. HB Wellness also carries coffee and my favorite morning drink, matcha! 🙂

Best Resturants in Phoenix: Lunch
I can be very busy and sometimes I miss lunch. That doesn’t mean I don’t love it though! When I do make time, here a few I always go back to.
4. Flower Child
If you live in Phoenix or are visiting Arizona, this should be at the top of your list. Flower Child is great for people who want to focus on healthy eating with food intolerances. Not only do they have salads and wraps, but you can build your own plates with 1, 2, or 3 items like organic brown rice, red chili glazed sweet potatoes and more! They also have delicious bowls such as the “Forbidden” Rice Bowl (Gluten-free and vegan, according to their menu) with black pearl, red japonica, carrots, snap peas and more.
I love Flower Child not only because it’s allergy friendly, but because I have the ability to pick exactly what I want.

5. True Food
AKA my life saver and best friend, haha! True Food is my everyday go-to when I’m busy at work. My favorite dish is a Salmon Kale Salad with no cheese or breadcrumbs. Then I add avocado with a kale-aid. Specific, I know, but

*Chop Shop
Told you this was a favorite 😉 Not only is Chop Shop good for breakfast, but it’s also got the perfect lunch menu. The thing that’s great is the portion sizes are just perfect and the food is fresh so you feel amazing after. It’s almost like a healthy fast-food.
Best Resturants in Phoenix: Dinner
Ah, dinner. I love going out to dinner whether it’s with family or with my girlfriends. Arizona’s beautiful nights make it such a fun outing.
6. Tocaya Organica
I love this place for dinner because it’s Mexican food, that is very allergy conscious. It’s very casual and is perfect when we need to grab some food as a family. They have salads, bowls, tacos, as well as seasonal items and more. Their ‘Chop Chop’ salad has shredded romaine and butter lettuce, Roma tomato, cucumber, spicy dressing, corn salsa, diced red onion, white beans, and is gluten-free and vegan, according to their menu. Even Dustin likes Tocaya Organica 😉

7. Farm and Craft
Farm and Craft is an especially fun place for Diego with so much space to run and play. Their food is also amazing, with menu items like “Strawberry Goat” salad and different flatbreads that you can put on a gluten-free crust (for a small upcharge). They also have delicious bowls. Farm and Craft is delicious and it’s one of Dustin and Diego’s favorites to sit an enjoy the environment.

8. Kale & Clover
This restaurant is a dream. I honestly struggled with deciding which category to put it under because it’s good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, this is a perfect dinner place because you can sit and eat if you’d like, or you can take it to go. They have a Southwest Quinoa Bowl that is both Gluten Free and Vegan (according to their site) and it has black beans, avocado, salsa

Best Resturants in Phoenix: Dessert
If you’re anything like me, a sweet treat after dinner is ‘must’. Nami’s vegan pastries, soft serve, and more do just the trick.
9. Nami
Nami is revolutionary. Since not being able to have dairy, Nami saves the day with its vegan soft serve (‘tSoft
