Baby Diego is Coming

SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS POST!!! Guess What?!?! We’re officially able to announce, we’re pregnant and I’m going to be a mommy! As soon as we got the news we were super excited, but due to issues with past pregnancies (two miscarriages), we took the news with caution. We were so happy when we passed that daunting three-month mark and found out that we were having a baby boy!!! Initially, I was so excited at the possibility of having a little girl and making her my mini-me haha, but after we got the news, I could not stop thinking about the bond a little boy always has with his mom. I also got so excited at the thought of being his favorite–Dustin does not agree with this part. I know we are up for a big challenge and that our lives will change forever, but we think we are ready for this. I am not gonna lie, sometimes I still feel that this is not real; that it is all kind of a dream. It’s just so hard for me to imagine how our lives will be when he comes. Has that ever happened to you moms that are reading this post?

Our baby boy will be named Diego. The name was a big issue with us haha–me being Mexican and Dustin being American. We needed a name that fit both our cultures and could be pronounced correctly by both families. So after a lot of thinking and Googling name options, we decided that Diego was our choice. Like any other mom out there, I wanted a name that would match what I imagine our baby boy will be like: healthy, smart, tall, kind, humble, handsome, and of course, the future president of the United States 🙂

P.S. This hormone thing is real guys. I am crying as I write this post and have no idea why!
