Finding out that we were pregnant was not just an amazing and exciting surprise, but also a big realization that our lives were going to change. Because of that, we also realized we needed to make some changes, not just to our work schedules and commitments, but to our house so we can accommodate our baby boy and all his needs. After a lot of discussion–some of them friendlier than others 🙂 we decided that in order to get what we wanted, we needed not just little changes, but a big construction project.
I am sure it will be stressful and not very fun having people in the house all the time, but it will be worth it! I am mentally preparing myself to be positive and not turn into a stressed pregnant monster! I will be posting photos and updates of our project as the weeks go by.
