Hatch Maternity Dress

Hello Hello! I can’t believe May is almost here, I am starting to get a little more anxious and nervous as Diego’s arrival gets closer, this Friday I turn 35 weeks and the doctor said that after 37 weeks the baby can come any time!! That is just crazy, Dustin and I are still in denial hahaha. So we will see when he decides to come, hopefully he waits until 40 weeks and gives us a little more time to be “ready”.

The other day when we were shooting this outfit at a small local Grocery store here in Phoenix called Luci’s Healthy Market Place, I saw a whole section of green cleaning products and it really got me to thinking if these would really make a difference in the health and safety of my family. I know for the past few years we have all seen a huge rise on health-awareness in regards to what we eat and the difference it actually makes on how we feel and our general health. Basically we now all know “we are what we eat,” but does living a healthier life also mean using better products at home? Have you guys ever thought about that?….or is this just my new mom instinct hahah?… I personally think that we are in a time where so much information is available to us that it is our responsibility to be as informed as we can about the products that we use, so after this caught my attention I did my research. The conclusion? I am gonna give green cleaning products a chance and not go for everything I see that just promises to make my house shinier and whiter :). What do all of you moms out there think?

On to the outfit…in this post I am wearing a maternity dress from one of my new favorite brands: Hatch. I love the dress because it still looks super cute, makes me feel comfortable and I will be able to wear it after baby. It is also great for day and night occasions as you can dress it down with flat sandals but as soon as you add heels and a leather jacket, it looks great too! In this post I am wearing it with black studded Valentino Sandals.
