Hello! So I have been using the Peloton Bike for over two months now and I have nothing but amazing things to say about it. Before I even keep talking about it I want to say that is not a sponsored post as with everything I write about on the blog I talk about because I love it. Now, on to more important things. (If you prefer to see it in action just watch the video below)
What is the Peloton Bike?
It is is a cycling bike just like the one that you would find at any of the best cycling studios that actually allows you to participate on live or on demand classes from their NYC Studio.
Why I decided to give it a try?
I am a working mom! I don’t have time to go to the gym but I do not want that to be an excuse for not working out. I needed something that would give me flexibility but at the same time a great workout. I have never been great at working out by myself so the guided classes are a great plus for me as they push me to work out harder.
How does it work?
You have to buy the bike from Peloton , mine took three weeks to be delivered but I think now they have shorter lead times. At the time of delivery they actually install it for you (noone wants to spend three hours putting a bike together), it takes about 20 min and they actually help you set it where ever you want and go over the set up basics. Setting up is super easy you just need to connect it with your home wifi and go through the guided setup. In order for you actually be able to access live or on demand classes you need to purchase the monthly membership which costs $39.00 a month. I think it’s totally worth it.
How much Does it cost?
The actual bike is $1995.00 it sound expensive but as I added up all the money I was wasting at the gym and extra classes I was trying to find to fit my schedule it made sense. They also offer payment plans which makes it a little bit easier to purchase. As I mentioned above you also have to consider the monthly membership of $39.00 a month.
Why I love it?
- Flexibility!!! I can do it at any time and I do not have to depend on a gym schedule.
- I can do it at home which saves me a lot of time in my already packed day.
- Many class options. The are so many options!! Options in length and type of class really make it inexcusable to to work out.
- The app offers other workouts! you can do abs, yoga, and stretching at any time!
- It’s actually a good looking bike! which doesn’t hurt when it’s in the middle of your living room.
Have any of you guys tried it? Do you like it? For you guys that have not yet since the bike in action take a look at the video below!
