Happy Monday!!!! I am super excited to start a new week with a calendar full of stuff to do, and yes I am that girl that gets excited about Mondays hahaha. Usually during the weekend I try to stay away from my email, but that doesn’t stop me from thinking about all I need to get done during the upcoming week. By Monday morning I am anxious to get that task list done and out of my head. On another note, This past weekend was my Baby Shower #GODiego, and it was everything that I could have ever imagined… my Mom and friends did an amazing job! It was so great to be able to see all my friends in one spot! Usually between work and trying to spend time with Dustin & family I don’t see many of my friends that often. So celebrating with them how happy I am for Diego to be coming soon (#excitedbutpanicked) was an awesome experience. I will be doing a post on my Baby Shower this week so you guys get to have a inside look!
Well now that I have updated you on life, let’s talk about this post. For this shoot I decided to wear all white (My favorite color :), wearing white on white does not always work but here are some tips to make it work for you:
– Try to wear a little bit more makeup than usual, you don’t have to look like a clown, a hint of color lipstick will do it!
– You don’t have to go with white shoes, adding a nude or silver shoe will bring a little bit more life to the outfit but still preserves the monochromatic look.
-Accessorize, I personally do not like to wear big and chunky accessories but even the smallest details like a gold bracelet or scarf will pop out.
– Lastly, as with everything wear your outfit confidently! If you believe you look good everyone else will too!
In this post I am wearing linen white pants from Joie, a white knit top from Derek Lam, and we shot it with two different pairs of shoes Aquazzura denim flats and my Nicholas Kirkwood white flats. Lastly my favorite Fendi monster bag.
