Hello! I hope everyone is having a great start to their week. Today´s post is about two of my favorite brands for maternity clothes: Asos and TopShop. I know a lot of women that get pregnant and never buy maternity clothes as they consider it a waste of money. I completely respect that. For me that just did not work, from the first month I was feeling a little bloated and tight on my jeans and I didn’t like that. So I made the decision to buy some basics like jeans and T-shirts that I could mix and match with my current wardrobe: Best decision ever! There is no reason to squeeze in your pants if there are affordable options that can make you feel comfortable.
Through browsing online I found Topshop’s and Asos´s maternity lines, I ordered some pieces and fell in love with them. On this post I am wearing some of my favorite pieces. The denim overalls I have had almost since the beginning of the pregnancy and I love them. They stretch and you can wear them all the way to the end. You can dress them down with a white t-shirt and sneakers or dress them up with pumps and a jacket like on this post. The dress is brand new, I love it! It has enough space for my belly while still fitting well on the top. It´s perfect for date night, I wore it to our anniversary dinner. It has been so important for me to feel good about myself during this pregnancy and I felt great in this! The Navy blue Topshop jacket, I just ordered and I love it. It is not maternity but it can be worn with the dress, jeans, or pants like I am in this post.
Quick pregnancy update, I am 38 weeks and I am so anxious to meet him! I hope he comes soon.
