Hello!!! I have been writing this post for more than a week hahaha – every time I tried working on it something else came up and I had to stop. But today is the day that it will be done 🙂
For my birthday this year (the big 31!) I decided that what I wanted was to spend some time with my family away from home. Somewhere where we did not have to work, could easily get all the “baby gear” to our destination and could spend as much time with Diego as possible. So we decided Sedona was the perfect place! It was the perfect choice because it’s close to Phoenix, beautiful, and with lots of outdoor activities.
It was our first time traveling with Diego and let me tell you, I really underestimated how much stuff you need to bring! I feel like we packed our whole house and we still forgot stuff hahaha. How do families with more than one child do it???!!!! I have a newfound respect for them! It took us about an hour just to pack the car! Our puppies had to stay because there was no more space for them in the car #replacedbybaby!
Since we were there for a week we rented a really nice house off of VRBO, it’s similar to AirBnB but not as cool haha. It was perfect. A couple of our friends joined us just for the weekend and it was the perfect ending to a wonderful week!
I would not have changed this birthday gift for anything, it really made me reflect on how important it is for us to spend as much time as possible with Diego as a family and made me fall in love even more with my little family!
P.S. I am in love with my new Frame jeans that I am wearing on this post!
