Hello!!! How’s your weekend going so far?… Mine is going great, planning to have breakfast with friends, getting a mani & pedi and spending some quality time with Dustin and my mom. The only thing is that anxiety is getting the best of me. Just waiting for the baby to come at any time is a cruel game hahaha. I wish I knew when he was coming and what to expect, these last weeks of waiting have been going slower than the whole pregnancy. I keep getting texts and calls from family and friends asking if the baby is here yet or that they had dreams that he was born, but so far nothing. I think this little guy will wait until his due date or maybe after, who knows.
Soooo for now I have been trying to focus on things that I can actually control, like work and finalizing the last details for the baby’s arrival and preparing my hospital bag. I have been asking friends and family for hospital bag essentials tips and this is what I came up with. As of now I have a very comfortable and soft robe, two pairs of pajamas, normal and post partum undies, a Sephora avocado face mask (just to look presentable hahha), my basic toiletries,nursing bras and tees, slippers and sandals, and one outfit to leave the hospital. Should I add anything else for me??
For the baby we are bringing so much stuff cause we have no idea what to expect and everyone tells us something different. We went with the approach of let’s take everything and if we don’t use it no problem. I am not even going to list what we are bringing for him because it would take over the whole post :). Even though I think we are ready I would love to hear you guys’ opinion on any essentials I would need to bring.
Lastly, I have prepared a mens diaper bag for Dustin, he was not very happy about carrying around the one that I bought for myself. So why not get him fully prepared for his days with Diego with his own daddy approved diaper bag hahaha. Now my love has no excuse to take his baby boy on daddy son dates. As you can see in the pics we have every single little thing that our friends have recommended but as I said above we are still open to suggestions.
