Hello everyone!
Today, I decided to do a little life update on the blog! So many things have been going on, and May was definetely a crazy month filled with incredible experiences and memories.
The month started with Sakura and I traveling to Nashville for our last Bloguettes workshop of its kind! It was a bittersweet feeling as I’m excited for what is to come, but also a little sad as this is how our company grew and what we are known for. The group that attended the Nashville Workshop was amazing, and I could not think of a more perfect group to give closure to that part of our business. Bloguettes is now transitioning to a once a year conference right here in Phoenix! Stay tuned, as more details are to come.
After the Nashville Workshop, we immediately traveled to Mexico City for Diego’s baptism. We had so much fun with friends and family and my baby boy looked sooo cute in his baptism outfit. Dustin was not a fan of the skirt, but he got over it (haha). We spent a whole week in Mexico City, but time flew by! I love living in Phoenix but it’s always nice to go visit my family. While in Mexico, Diego also got to spend some time with his baby cousins. My niece and nephew are just three months younger than Diego, so I’m sure as they grow up they’ll get into some trouble together.
The disappointing part of the month was that our home remodel has been put on pause. We have been having problems with our HOA lately, and they have decided to not let us continue for now. This has brought so much unnecessary stress into our lives, because we were so excited for the house to be done by Diego’s birthday. Unfortunately, we’ll be lucky if we are done by Christmas. I feel so bad to complain, but I have never felt so powerless in any situation. Having your life and home analyzed by strangers is difficult, and also having these strangers determine what you are able to do and not to do. Anyways, writing about this just makes me sa,d so if you have any suggestions or have been through something similar, please let me know!
As for June, we have Diego’s first birthday party coming up! I am so excited. My family will be in town and I’m sure we will have a great time together. In the meantime, Diego, Dustin, and I will be spending as much time as possible outside before it gets to be a million degrees!
P.S. I wanted to post these pictures of us with Diego’s favorite car, because if you have seen my Instagram Stories, you know that’s all we do haha. If you want to stay up-to-date on all things happening in my life, be sure to follow me!
