Guilty of doing the same makeup look everyday? I am! But when I see these amazing makeup looks on Instagram or YouTube I wish someone would teach me how to change up my look BUT still keep it simple and 5-10 minutes. Most of us don’t have time to spend an hour doing our makeup look and some of us just don’t even know where to start.
So to help us busy ladies out a little I asked Stephanie, a Citrine Natural Beauty Bar makeup artist, to give a tutorial for two 5 minute makeup looks. We chose to create two looks that are simple to recreate and are nothing dramatic so they can really be used by anyone and every day. I filmed the entire creation of both looks in under 10 minutes, transitioning from the everyday dewy nude look to the more colorful rosy pink look.
In the video, Stephanie walks me through which products she’s using and why she’s using them. She shares some of her industry expert tips that anyone can do and answer some of my questions throughout the video. There’s also a fun Skin and Beauty Q&A with Stephanie on my IGTV answering questions like what is oily vs. dewy and her favorite products for all skin types.
Two 5 Minute Makeup Looks Anyone Can Do
Every product used to create the look is from a non-toxic clean beauty brand and is linked below!
Everyday Dewy Nude Look
This look was all about a natural dewy glow (that’s not “oily”) that uses neutral tones. A perfect everyday makeup look for every skin tone or eye color playing up on that nude bronzy natural look.

Rosy Flushed Pink Look
Girly, colorful, and eye-catching without an over the top look. I’ve been seeing this bright lip color trend everywhere, what Stephanie calls the “popsicle lip” and although I don’t experiment much with color keeping a simple overall look with a bright lip looks so fresh and feminine. I imagine this look with a cute floral dress or even a one-toned neutral look.
* The only change on this look was to the cheeks and lips.
