Derek Lam off shoulder shirt

Derek Lam off shoulder shirt

For the past few weeks in Arizona we have officially been in spring weather (sorry for anyone who is still stuck with snow boots for a a couple more weeks). Arizona spring means goodbye to jackets & chunky sweaters and hello to amazing spring clothes. Being 28 weeks pregnant, it’s starting to become a little challenging to find pregnancy outfits that go with my style. Many pregnancy clothes are only available online, fun for surprises and sometimes terrible for surprises as you never know if something is going to fit!  A great option is simply choosing normal tops that are meant to be worn a little big, like the Derek Lam off shoulder shirt that I am wearing in this post. I bought it in a bigger size than I normally would but I think it will still work after the baby comes.

Usually when I wear tops like this one that are  longer and looser I like to wear them with skinny jeans. Baggy on baggy looks like we’re hiding something more than what we actually are! haha. For this outfit I paired it with one of my favorite pairs of maternity skinny jeans that I found so far from Topshop. I was talking to my mom the other day and I think everyone should wear maternity jeans even if they are not pregnant! They are way more comfortable than normal skinnys, you don’t have to worry about eating more than two quesadillas because the waistband is elastic 🙂 #letsallwearmaternityjeans. If you are the type of person that does not like to repeat an outfit twice, for a fun & hip spin, this shirt would look amazing with a striped button down collared shirt underneath.

Let me know what you think and I hope you all had an amazing weekend!

P.S The shoes are from Aquazzura and the bag is a bucket bag from Mansur Gavriel.

You look marvelous and I love this top! Definitely agree with you that it’s tough to be surprised with maternity clothes shopping online & I’ve been using my existing wardrobe as much as possible! Wish I could have seen you in Seattle but so excited that soon you will be home meeting and getting to know your baby Diego! 🙂
