Hello Hello!!! I finally had some time to write a blog post! I have been meaning to write this post for probably more than two weeks but somehow things keep coming up! I decided to write a post on my current beauty favorites because I am obsessed with skin care products that work! I love trying new products and recommending the ones that work for me!
My skin has always been a concern for me, everything affects it. I have to be very careful with the foods that I eat, the amount of water I drink and most importantly the products that I use. For the past year, while I was pregnant, I was using mostly organic products (Click here to see all my favorite natural products). After the baby was born, and I went from sleeping 8 hours to 3-5, I decided to change up my routine a little. I had always heard about La Mer but I truly thought it was just one more over priced beauty brand. A month after Diego was born I went to get a facial and the spa used La Mer, the products felt so great that I decided to try them.
Since starting the products my skin has changed for the better! It always looks hydrated and alive (haha, sorry I couldn’t find a better adjective) I have also received a bunch of complements (half the reason to do this post). Want to know all the products I’m using? Morning and night after I wash my face I use their oil absorbing toner, which keeps my face from being shiny. At the same time, I also use their Eye Concentrate, it has really helped my (new baby) dark circles and by dark I mean almost purple! 🙂 My absolute favorite product is also by La Mer, their Perfecting Treatment… I mix it with my foundation and it makes my skin look even but also helps to make my makeup last way longer, seriously it made such a difference! I love it so much! At night after the toner I use the Regenerating Serum (I am on my third bottle).Finally since I was already buying all of these products I also decided to buy a translucent powder, I like it but from all their products this is probably the only one I would not buy again!
I don’t know a good way to say this but La Mer products are not a cheap, they are an investment on your skin! Hahaha, I sound like a commercial, but they truly work.
